The 10th Future Networks Concertation Meeting was organized by the EU commission during 10-11 October 2012. The program is available here. On the second day of the meeting, the plenary session was organized, dedicated to discussing within the network research community key aspects of Future Networks standardisation, policy and research priorities for the future. All the FP7 Call-8 projects were introduced during the plenary, and ABSOLUTE project was represented by Isabelle, the project coordinator. The presentation can be downloaded here.
For the Future Networks project clusters, The project is grouped into the RAS Cluster based on the technical project objectives, with some emphasis also on the Future Internet Architectures Cluster. ABSOLUTE project was also represented at the RAS cluster meeting, with specific commitment ensured to support and steer the cluster activities through the specific working groups. The ABSOLUTE consortium has concrete plans within its dissemination efforts to provide sustainable support to the cluster actvities. This will promote the possibility of cross-project and cross-sector collaboration and possible liaisoning with projects or initiatives.
